The award was presented at the 36th International Achievers’ Summit & Awards, organized by the esteemed Indian Achievers Forum, held on April 29, 2023, in Dubai.
STE Green Excellence
Award – Nathaniel Bhakupar Dkhar. Senior Research Scientist, Mu Gamma, has been bestowed with the Green Excellence Award – 2022. This prestigious recognition was presented at the 4th Annual Meet of Save The Environment (STE) held on January 12–13, 2023.
Lifestyle for Environment (LiFE) by NITI Aayog-2023
Our collaborative proposal, titled “Achieving Circular Economy Transition in Waste Management Through People’s Participation for Sustainable Lifestyles and Practices,” has been selected among the “75 Ideas to Promote LiFE” from the “Global Call for Ideas and Papers”.
OMLAS 2023 – One Million leaders Asia Fellow – Mr. Nathaniel B Dkhar of Mu Gamma has been selected as a Fellow for the prestigious One Million Leaders Asia program. Dr Girija Bharat was honoured by her Alma mater, LIT University, Nagpur with the prestigious ‘Jewels of LIT Award’ for her outstanding contribution to the environment and sustainable development. She was felicitated by the Hon’ble Dy Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri Devendra Fadnavis on the December 16, 2023 in a grand ceremony at LITU, Nagpur during the Global Event Renaissance – 2023.
Mu Gamma Consultants emerged as a finalist for the National Startup Awards, under the Sustainability Champion category. This award is given by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of Government of India. The Award ceremony was held on January 16, 2024, at Bharat Mandapam.
Mu Gamma Consultants Pvt. Ltd. (MGC) received the ‘Aqua Excellence Award 2021’ under the category ‘Water Company of the Year – Private Sector’at World Aqua Congress held in September 2021.
MGC received the Energy and Environment Foundation’s Global Environment Award during the World Water Summit in December 2020. The Summit was inaugurated by Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Union Minister of Jal Shakti, Government of India. The award was in recognition of MGC’s work to promote green development.
MGC received the ‘Aqua Excellence Award 2020’ under the category ‘Outstanding Contribution towards cause of Sustainability – Private Sector’ (institutional) in October 2020. The award by World Aqua Congress recognized the effort, contribution, and motivation of MGC to offer sustainable solutions.
Received the prestigious Women Transforming India (WTI) Award by NITI Aayog (India’s think tank) in March 2022. The WTI Awards were conferred to 75 women achievers from across the country to celebrate their contribution towards a Sashakt Aur Samarth Bharat, as part of the celebration of 75 years of India’s independence (Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav). ‘Save the Environment (STE) Annual Awards – Water’ bestowed upon Dr Girija Bharat in January 2022 organized by STE, Hindu College, Delhi University, in association with CSIR- NEERI, RSC London- North India Section and ESDA, Delhi
Glory of India Award was presented to Dr Girija Bharat in July 2021 by Indian Achievers’ Forum in recognition of her professional achievement and contribution to nation building.
Awarded the ‘Aqua Excellence Award 2020’ in October 2020 under the “Professional Excellence-Individual” category that is conferred on individuals to acknowledge their exemplary contribution in the water sector.
Awarded ‘Woman Super Achiever’ by World Woman Leadership Congress in February 2020 in Mumbai. The awardees were recognized for their thought leadership in upholding gender equality.
Awarded ‘51 Global Water and Water Management Leaders’ by World CSR Federation during the World CSR Day Congress & Awards held in February 2020 in Mumbai.
Awarded the ASSOCHAM ‘Inspiring Woman Achiever of the year’ (Environment Sector) at the Women’s Leadership & Empowerment Summit held in November 2019. Dr Girija received the prestigious award from Smt Smriti Zubin Irani, the-then Union Minister of Textiles and Women & Child Developments, Government of India.
